Upcoming Star Working on Debut Album

What do you think of when someone asks what you think about Country music? A lot of people out there who really never gave that type of music a chance think that it is depressing and all alike. The ones who judge it think that it's about losing their significant other due to cheating, or someone's dog dies, or even their truck breaks down.

People judge the singers by their looks, thinking they all wear huge cowboy hats or all look like George Strait. Well I am here to prove you wrong with Capitol Records artist Walker Hayes.

By looks, Hayes is the type of guy all the girls would dream of to see when their plane lands in Southern California. However, this Mobile, Alabama, native currently resides in Music City, USA! Nashville, Tennessee. His music is anything BUT depressing and his looks, WOW, he's a looker ladies.

Forget Keith Urban Country music has got a new stud in town. Walker sent me his CD before it was even finished so I could give you all a sneak peak at it.

Walker Hayes' CD is the kind of CD everyone will want to pick up when it is in stores. It has 12 future hits on it. Like I said above, it is not depressing at all. His songs are fun, upbeat, loving, and some very passionate.

The first song I will talk about is defiantly fun and upbeat, it is also one of my favorites on the CD, "My Best Friends Fiancé." The song makes you want to dance in your seat and learn the lyrics so you can sing along.

"Cause I want to kiss my best friends fiancé she's got a body built like Beyonce" is part of the chorus in this fun song. It makes a bad day turn around because of its upbeat rhythm and I think the song is hilarious, I mean who would want to kiss their best friends fiancé? Anyone who knows me, DON'T ANSWER THAT! Ha Ha.

My next favorite song on the CD is "Naked." This song is the definition of sexy. How Hayes' sings this song is amazing. In my eyes the song is about getting to know one another down to all the deepest secrets that one may have. "Baby let's get naked show our tattoos and our scars, let's get naked, bear our souls and share our hearts, lets strip it down til' we just can't fake it, there's more to love then just the way we make it baby let's get naked." So anyone out there, who wants to get naked?

"Well my daddy said son if you think you found the one, before you go and get down on one knee you better do yourself a favor and get a good look at her mama, cause the apple don't fall far from the tree." The beginning lyrics in the song "Mama's Hot" is about how the guy in the relationship should take a look at his girlfriend's mom to see what he's going to get himself into years down the road. Throughout the whole song I had my foot tapping along to the beat. It's a fun song about how true it is that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Thankfully when I find the right guy, my mama's got it going on!

"Take it from There" is a song about a guy not minding his girlfriend/wife going out for a girls night out and actually wanting her to have fun. You don't hear that often about a guy not only allowing his girl to go out but to have fun too. In the song, it says to drink a little, flirt a little, do a dance and have them eating from your hands. It continues to say to tease the boys so they buy you a drink. I mean what does it matter when she's got a man like Walker to go home to? He can take it from there. It's a good song to show there are some guys out there that aren't jealous and have confidence enough to let their ladies go out and have fun.

Alright, I gave you a little sneak peak at four of Walker's songs; you are going to have to wait for the next eight when you purchase his CD after it is out in stores. I give this CD, no doubt, a 10 out 10 rating. It's going to be a great buy and will definitely have some hits on the Country Music Billboard.

The CD is yet to have a release date, but a single should be hitting airwaves sometime next month.

Better yet, you can check him out this summer at one of Country Music's biggest tours of 2010, called the Country Throwdown featuring some of Country Music's biggest artists. The tour begins May 14th and will go through twenty four different cities across the U.S. For more information on that tour go to its website. The tour makes it's stop in Pittsburgh on May 29th at the First Niagra Pavilion (formally known as Post-Gazette Pavilion or Starlake).
